Make your own fonts for freeDo you need – or want – to have your own computer fonts? Fonts which look like – for example – your handwriting? No problem! You can have them for free! We introduce an online font generator here, that allows you to create your own OpenType fonts within a couple of minutes.
YourFonts.com allows you to upload large image templates – and creates fonts based on them. It has probably the most advanced raster to vector conversion algorithm. Together this results in very high quality of your personal fonts. You may use the fonts in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and every other program you own.How you can use it
The first thing to do if you want to create your own font is print the template. YourFonts.com have it available in two common formats – as a PDF document and as an image. To make optimal use of the size of your paper, they recommend you print out the PDF document.
Then complete the template. Use a suitable pen to draw all the characters the way that you normally write. Or any other way, if you want. Only characters that are written down on the template are added to the font, so if you only need a few characters, then only write those down.
Then you scan and save your template (you may use a digital camera as well). Upload it and preview your font. Is it OK? Great! Download it and install to your computer. You are finished. You have your own font now and you may use it as you wish.A few remarks
And that is all. Your own handwriting really may be turned into your very own font for free and within 15 minutes. You may even include your signature and then use it as you wish. Personalize your digital scrapbook pages, make your own family handwriting history, just do, what you want.
